FieldCare Device Setup
FieldCare is a unique software tool developed by Endress+Hauser which in its simplest form assists in commissioning and configuration of all field devices. In a more advanced version, FieldCare is a complete instrument-oriented asset management tool.
FieldCare is based on FDT (Field Device Tool) technology - an open technology developed in accordance to a standard specification supported by all leading automation suppliers. It can be used to operate all Endress+Hauser devices and third party devices, actuators, drives and remote input/output devices providing that they have the appropriate device-specific drivers. Generic drivers are also available to allow basic configuration of any third party device. The software is compatible with Ethernet, HART and PROFIBUS protocols.
The tool connects and exchanges data with other Endress+Hauser tools and provides links to our W@M lifecycle management system to provide enhanced functionality and additional device information.
How to ensure the full traceability of certificates? After Endress+Hauser has performed the commissioning service, a full report is issued detailing equipment set-up and advising on future maintenance requirements.
The reports and documents are stored either on your server or on the Endress+Hauser's servers accessed via Internet on the W@M portal. The documents are available immediately after the job is performed.
Even better: W@M gives you access, via downloads, to all the documents you might need, whether general or instrumentspecific: user manual, material certificate, ATEX certificate, calibration certificates and work reports issued by the Endress+Hauser Service Department. In short, everything you need to certify that your instruments conform to the requisite quality standards. All ready to print out! |
